Halloween Dance Party for Homeschool Teens and Tweens

If you didn’t get a chance to RSVP last week, you may still attend. We’ve got a great group of kids and teens coming and this should be a really fun event.
What:

Come dance/not dance, hang out with friends and make new friends at the Halloween Dance Party with homeschooled tweens, teens and their close friends age 10 and up.

*Costumes are encouraged, but not mandatory.* We’ll provide a professional DJ, and pizza and soda will be served.

When:
7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Friday October 17, 2014

Where:
Montclare Lanes and Banquets
2957 N Harlem Ave, Chicago, IL
(773) 237-5500

-Bowling will be available to parents who wish to stay while their tween or teen attends the dance. (This would be at your own cost.)
-This is a drop-off event. Parent chaperones will be present.

Cost for dance:
$10, which covers the cost of the space rental, pizza, and soda. Pay at the event.

A note about age range for this event: This is a special event for Halloween open to a wider range of ages than previous teen-only dances. Therefore, we will have additional parent chaperones in attendance to help assist with set up and clean up and keep the event safe and fun for all.

Happy Halloween!

Join us, along with the Internet Safety Specialist from the Attorney General’s Office, as we continue in our efforts to protect and educate our children.

Announcement: Classes for younger Children in Dunning neighborhood

Hello,I live in the Dunning Neighborhood (near Addison, west of Harlem), and am planning to host some new and continued activities. My daughter will be 7 in October and my son is 2.5.

Please let me know who might be interested in these activities, if you could be regular attendees, and the ages of your children. Space is more limited for Baking and Math/Ya since they will be in my home, and I am hoping for families with children who are around my daughter’s age. I don’t mind younger siblings around my son’s age.
I can answer any questions
